140 gr 270 on a 375 Ruger case 38° shoulder 24" barrel 1/10 twistNeed more info ..Is it .270 or 375 Ruger ?
Barrel Length / Twist / Bullet / Weight / knowing as many of the variables helps
You can enter custom cartridge data into QL though, thats how we worked up loads for the .458 socom when it was new. i.e. get the saami specs for the .375R, then change the shoulder and neck dimensions for his .277 bore diameter. It will spit out some load numbers that way.No listing in QL for Either 270/375 or 375/270 ?
Unless I'm just not understanding ??
Can you load some Pics Hollister? I'm kinda curious now....
Don't know the difference between custom and wildcat. But after I thought this up I discovered Gunwerks 7LRM was a 375 Ruger necked down to 7MM. I said GREAT! Only needed to neck it down one more size. Hornady made the dies and Pacific Tool made the reamer. Now I want to finalize building the load.So this is a custom or Wildcat ?
Never heard of a 270 /375 ?
Anyone else have info on this
How do I determine grain weight on any of those powders? There is no info on my caliber yet. I named it 277 Wysong RogueIt basically 270 PRS/ruger.
All the standard magnum powders will work.
7828 is one of them.
H1000,7977 and R26 are where I’d be looking possibly even slower like retumbo.
something Like this with the 170EOL certainly would be interesting while it lasted.
Start low and work up til you blow up the gun. Then back off a smidge...How do I determine grain weight on any of those powders? There is no info on my caliber yet. I named it 277 Wysong Rogue
