Reloder-17, my 260 and QuickLoad

I've been reloading .223 and .308 for a while now. Recently I built a 260 and have just finished break in and a ladder test. I've also recently purchased QuickLoad so I'm trying to incorporate it into my reloading procedures.

My problem is that QuickLoad is giving me wildly different predictions for the 260 with Reloder-17 than what I'm actually seeing. So I'm trying to figure out where the difference is.

My components and reloading data are:

Nosler custom 260 brass (new)
CCI BR2
Sierra 142gr MK
Reloder-17
OAL 2.780
OAL to ogive 2.201
Case length 2.014
Case capacity 53.0 gr

For example, if I plug everything in and do a Charge Variations in QuickLoad, it comes up with this (abbreviated):

32.48 2327 starting load
38.98 2733 near maximum
40.60 2830 dangerous load
42.22 2925 dangerous load

Comparing this to the ladder I shot today I was getting this (also abbreviated, I shot more steps than this):

40.60 2730
42.20 2852
43.00 2922

I shot all the way up to 43.4 grains of R-17. The ONLY pressure sign was a slight ejector mark. No cratering, nice strikes, etc. According to QuickLoad I should have been way above max and into danger territory.

I load RamShot TAC and Varget in other calibers and QuickLoad seems to nail these dead nuts. But Reloder-17 seems way off.

Is anyone else seeing this?

I didn't realize Quickload had RL17.

From a 22" Lilja 1:8" twist, I'm getting ~2800fps with the 43.0gr RL17 & 139gr Scenar.

CCI BR2 primer, Winchester 7mm-08 brass, loaded to ~2.82" OAL.

Yeah I guess it's been added recently.

I forgot to mention I'm running a 26" rock 1:8 barrel.

mine is running 2890 with a 139 scenar in RP brass with wolf primers and 42.0 grains of RL17 I also am running a Rock but it is 8.5 twist 26".
