This looks like a newer item and limited to 1 distributer (if true- so im told)
It's kinda cool with the M40 (ish) B&C stock , factory fluted and ceracoat with R5 24" barrel, Remington also claims a heaver barrel is used due to the fluting .
Looking the rifle over the B&C stock fit better than most of the HS Precision stocks on the other Stainless r-5's. As far as it being any better or worse you guys would know.
I can seat into the rifleing with no trouble.
I was really looking for a Target rifle for 100-200yd production class Varmit BR matches. The .223 Heavy barrel and the flat (ish) stock fit the bill at least as far as their inventory and Price.
Anyone know how well these shoot ?

I will be in the market for a new .223 and that looks nice. Don't feel like doing a new custom build and need something just to get out and shoot.

I really wanted the .308 version......But the extra Amo expense $$$ and recoil make no sense with the limited distance I have to shoot 200 Yds max.
Reloading a 100 rounds (Match amo) is close to $70 now days!!!!!, (not counting brass)
(Sierria 175 grn HPBT Match is $43 when you can find them + power + primers)

It seams it was not that long ago .308 Federal GMM was $20 a box of 20 and a Box 100 Sierria bullets (100) was the same ...reloading WAS great......
