Hello hide.

Considering my next rifle.
Don't want 6,5xx , Don't want .300WM - Do want 7 rem mag.

Question is - we have Rem700 Sendero II available in our shops.
it has 9 1/4" twist (in accordance with Remington website) with 26" bbl.

Question is: will 168SMK and 175SMK fly from this twist (and rifle) with 0,5MOA (or better) accuracy on speed justifying 7 rem mag over .270WSM?

Or should i look with this twist to the lighter SMK - 150 grain?

Thank you anyway.

I'm not quite sure about the 168's, but I tried the 162 Amax in my Sendero this weekend. These were 2 of the first 5 loads that I tried. 1 sighter and 2 3 shot groups. Both groups were at or below .3moa. I may have to refine the load when doing 5 and 10 shot groups, but I was quite happy with the initial results.

Seems to stabilize quite well. I'd say you would be ok.

Besides, the 7mm has a much better selection of match projectiles over the 270.
