Range Report Rem 700 sps varmint 243 win. Weird groups...

Same twist I had.
My dad's pre-64 M70 varmint has a 10" twist that spun the same bullets just fine.

Mine was cut to 16.5" and stabilized the 87's just fine. I was getting 2980 and shooting 1Kyds with it. Till the barrel got rusty...

Ok so what should i do with my flyers issue? Set to max magazine length then find a good load with power then adjust to tighten?

Strongly recommend you go with Sierra Matchkings until you figure out other issues. They are the most consistent bullet with the highest tolerance for jump you will encounter. H4350 will probably be the best for your 243 for temperature stability
