For sale is a Remington 700 XCR Compact Tactical in as close to new old stock condition as possible.

I am the 2nd owner of the rifle and am the only one who has shot it. I have around 30 rounds through the gun.
Details on the gun:
The rifle was built before Freedom Group began causing production issues. For example, the fluting matches older Remington LTR rifles with a squared, parallel flute instead of the pointed arrow-like flutes made by FG. The serial number is also not a RR prefix, which began once Freedom Group instituted changes to production. (The S represents “Stainless”).
This is an excellent rifle and easily outperforms my shooting ability. It shoots sub-MOA all day if i do my part. All aspects, including the bore, action, finish, etc. are in excellent condition. This is essentially an upgraded version of the law enforcement LTR. I’ve heard stories that they were touched by the custom shop, but I can’t confirm that with any substance.
The scope was bought brand new a couple years ago when I bought the rifle and has only ever been mounted on this rifle as you see it.
