your really stuck on the 5R rifling.. as I stated in the OTHER 700 AAC thread, Thhe diffrence in twist is 1-10" for the AAC and 1-11.25" for the 5R (also a diffrent rifling cut that is suppose to be superior) ANYWAYS... you playing the long range game? Your asking about a 700P.. those are 1-12" unless your talking about some wierd stainless 5R 700P that Remmy is trying to get rid of. Your going to probably want the stick that can stabalize the heavier bullets to stay supersonic at extended ranges, that would be your faster twist barrels. 5R would work, but the 1-10" seems like it can handle some of the heavier pills with ease.
Some guys use their 1-12" to launch the heavies but no one will tell you that YOUR 1-12" will definitely do the same... Id vote for the AAC especially if you want to run a can on it. If not, then the longer 5R rifle will suit you just fine.
