After hearing good things about this one decided to go ahead and give it a shot. Went in and bought yesterday late evening and shot first thing this morning.
First impressions: solid unit. No slack or slap anywhere that I have found yet. Maching was really nice with tight tolerances and great functionality.
25 yards accuracy was right where I expected. 10 for 10 in the 10 ring when concentrating on pure accuracy. When I sped up my shooting and started double/triple reaction drills opened to loose 9 with occasional 8flyer. Very happy with this.
Ran ball ammo with no issues but did not seem to appreciate things when I switched to JHP, had a couple times where slide just would not put round fully into battery.
Trigger could use a little work, almost felt like a 2 stage trigger on a pistol but still with a reliable break.
Over all for the price ($710 otd) more than content with it, but as with any 1911, mods won't take long to begin
