I have a Remington 40 XB that I am trying to sell for a friend whos husband passed away. It has had 10 rounds fired and it was cleaned after every round. It is the SS bull barrel and its chambered in .220 swift.
I am not familiar with this rifle. The receipt in the box was for $1781 just for the rifle. The rifle will be sold with the bi pod and the rings and mounts, but the glass is going on my LTR. What is this rifle worth and where is the best place to advertise it?
Thanks for any info.

Check with the Remington Collectors Society website. They can tell you how rare it is and probably give you an idea of value.
I would guess in that caliber it's quite rare.

I don't think you'll have a problem selling a 40X at all. You can always try and sell it here, or you can put it on GunBroker with a reasonable starting price and let the market decide what it's worth.

its a newer 40x, 220 swift isnt that rare since you can still order it with that chambering. price is tough to pin down, what its worth and what someone will pay for it are 2 differnt cats. I would guess in the $1400-$1500 range it would sell, $1500+ you might take a while to sell
