Gunsmithing Remington 700 P Bedded from factory?

My question is the same as my subject line. Is the 700p bedded from the factory stock? Do people generally redo this bed job or what? Thanks

I think they have an aluminum bedding block. Most people here would skim bed

No they are not bedded from the factory and yes by all means they do need to be bedded.
