Remington 700 Tactical .223 Shorty

Hi everyone, I just wanted to show everyone my new toy, a Remington 700 SPS Tactical chambered in .223 sporting a 16.5" bbl paired with a Nikon M-223 4-16x42. I just got her sighted in yesterday and WOW, she's a shooter. Pretty fun gun so far; weighs a TON!

It'll put 3 shots into 1 ragged whole at 100 yds. Unbelievable.

Thats the plan haha. Already ordered a Timney for it. Looking at stocks... wouldn't mind a McMillan A4...

I'm also highly anticipating the KRG X-Ray chassis coming out soon. That is definitely a possibility.

Welcome to the Hide berdman! I have that same rifle as a 20 incher. This will be the 3rd SPS I will have modified the crap out of. You are definitely on the right track starting with a Timney, which combined with a good stock is the first thing I go after. I'm really glad you got a shooter. Let us know how it goes as you tweak the rifle.
