If your talking about the clock positioning of the lug in relation to the receiver, then it's not surprising that it still shoots well.
So long as its not so far out of position that it creates a bind on the stock as its assembled it shouldn't affect anything. Obviously its preferable to see it timed up properly, but flat is flat regardless of the orientation.
Just means someone was off on their game when they installed the barrel. Tools are made specifically for this stuff that make it a no brainer if used correctly.
