Had a guy bring me a stock remington R-15 and wants me to do a trigger job. I haven't done many trigger jobs on auto's and wondered if anyone has any experience with these particular rifles. I would also like to know will they interchange with other AR type triggers.

thanks in advance for any info

Re: Remington R-15 trigger work

I put a Rock River 2 stage National Match in one with JP yellow springs. Very nice 3.5 lb trigger with 2nd stage being 1.5 lbs. Yes they are just standard small pin AR lowers.

If you want to do some reading, you can make the factory trigger a lot better with very little pre-travel, I've done it on 4 AR's and it works. I did not stone the original surfaces just polished them.

Timing the disconnector (read the section on timing the disconnector)

Probably the most important part is replacement springs from JP Rifles. I used the 3.5 lb springs. I cut the horn off of my hammer with a dremel so that it is exactly like JP rifles speed hammer.
