I was wondering if anyone has a technique for removing a stuck Tikka T3 bolt handle. I followed the instructions in the manual to disassemble the bolt, the problem is that the handle won't slide out even after the spring tension is relieved. I used penetrating oil and a small mallet and got it to move a little, but not enough to come free. Are there any good tricks for this kind of problem?

I did end up getting it out. After more penetrating oil and mallet use I was able to get a small flathead screwdriver in the groove between the partially removed handle and the bolt body. It slid relatively easily when applying leverage that way.

Use a plastic or soft mallet. Get it to move about 1/16. Using flat blade screw drivers under bolt handle, slowly wedge out bolt handle. Obviously starting with the thinnest working to thicker. You will reach a point that you will have to grasp and pull. Once out clean the channel. I used hoppes RBC. Putting in new handle is really tight due to paint in channel. Insert and remove until it slides smoothly.

just in case you missed something, you need to leave a 1/8 or 3mm allen key in the firing pin when turning to cock or uncock. then the bolt handle will slide out. without that in you will never get the handle out.
