Gunsmithing Removing AR trigger slack?

I did a search but didn't get what I was looking for. Can this be a DIY task? I'm not a "smith" but I am comfortable with shop tools. I've done other tasks with the AR such as assembling a stripped lower & upper. Thanks in advance.
