Gunsmithing Removing Krylon Paint?

So I'm looking at buying a used B&C A2 stock that has been painted up with Krylon. I know that acetone or brake parts cleaner will remove krylon from metal, but what about a stock?

I don't want to hurt the original finish of the stock, just remove the spray job. Any tips? Anyone removed old rattle can?

acetone wont hurt it. take a spray bottle with acetone, spray the stock down let it sit for about 5 minutes then take a rag with acetone on it wipe it down. Its going to take some elbow grease

I just got off the phone with B&C and they said that there isn't anything that will take it off as the stock is painted as well. I'll try the acetone I guess once I get it and if it FUBAR's it, I'll rattle it back....meh....

Wiskey ... rattle can that mother fucker and call it good man. Hell give it to Marky during the Silencer shoot and I am sure he would spray it for ya.

I'm going to try and not F it up too bad with the alkihaul n' acetone, but if I do, I think I can handle a little custom paint job......Von Dutch pin stripes and all.

What's been goin' on man? What's this silencer shoot you speak of?
