Yes it builds up, and yes it makes for cleaning your rifle so much easier - it has some great positive benefits!
But yes it builds up in the barrel and while you can shoot it and shoot it (You'll see great performance for several hundred rounds of copper AFTER moly) - it's hard to get out.
I ran JB Bore paste and then went with the Tubbs Final Finish - it was gone then...
Seems I had to use a bit more charge to get Moly bullets downrange, but the black hills moly 175's I ran performed RIGHT TO 1000 yards, but out of a 22" ba rrel I could hear them going subsonic about 50 yards behind the 1000 yard line...(I was in the target pits, it's a neat sound)...
Not worth the effort, IMHO....
