Alright, so I've been using a Forester neck sizing / shoulder bump die for quite a while now. .
Recently I bought a concentricity gauge and a Giraud trimmer.
I was pretty happy with the die because I've been shooting some pretty damn tight groups, but didn't like the fact that the first load on new bras was basically a throw away, because the case needed to in essence be fire-formed before it matched all the others; the POI was always off.
I threw some freshly cases on the concentricity die and noticed that there was a decent amount of run-out on the neck, so that was kind of strike one. After that I trimmed the cases on the Giraud and found the trimmed lengths were up to .005 off in length, and sticking in the Giraud's holder like crazy. After some testing I realized the cases are indexing in the trimmer on the sides of the case rather than the shoulder, so that's strike two (fuck strike three) and I ordered a full-length sizer.
Will this alleviate my problem?
I've never used a full length sizer before, anything I need to know? (specifically in regards to the first firing on brass)
