II'm i the process of building an a 6.5 Creedmore semi. While doing research I've discovered lots of chatter about 6mm Creedmore and 6.5/6 x 47 Lapua. Any compelling reason to consider these three over the 6.5 Creedmore given my intended use is +1000 yard long range shooting mixed with occasional deer & hog hunting? Shooting PRS is not a consideration. I also have a 6.5 Grendel so maybe the x47 Lapua's don't bring much to the table over the Grendel that I already have. Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

I wouldn't want a chambering that required Lapua brass in a gas gun. The Grendel is not in the same class as any of the other cartridges listed. It also sounds like the 6mm's have more potential for teething pains in a gas gun than the 6.5's. And last but most importantly, it's Creedmoor, not Creedmore.
If you’re shooting steel at 1,000yds+, another thing to consider is being able to see impact. With a 6.5 you’re sending significantly more energy down range.
Here are the numbers for Hornady ELD Match factory ammo:
6mm Creedmoor : 108gr at 2960fps (muzzle velocity) = 516 ft-lbs
6.5mm Creedmoor : 147gr ar 2750 fps (muzzle velocity)= 836 ft-lbs

The 6.5 cm is a great all around choice and with Federal and others make very reasonably priced brass I see no reason to go with a different round. As mentioned there are a lot of factory match / hunting ammo to choose from if you don't reload.
Thanks everyone for your feedback and advice. Sorry about the miss-spelling. Going with plan A which is 6.5 Creedmoor. One last question. Adjustable gas block . SLR or Superlative? Internals will be all JP. Barrel will be a 22" Proof if that matters.

I guess because I shoot my gas guns a little faster than my bolt actions and would enjoy any barrel life advantage I could get.
Correct me if I'm wrong, its usually wiser to go with large primer cases in a AR.308 platform..?
I love a 6.5CM in a gas gun. Barrel life, easy ammo, easy brass, easy loads. Only thing with mine is it bends the rims on the brass so I don't get much life out of them.
