Rifle Scopes Reticle Choice for Nightforce BEnchrest 12-42

I am going to purchase a Nightforce Benchrest 12-42x56 scope. I want to use this scope for local F Class matches and possibly long range hunting (eventually).

I think the the NP-R2 is the best of the available choices.

Does anyone who has experience with this scope believe that the NP-2DD, CH2, or Mildot are superior in any way? If so, why are they better?

I had a 12-42 BR with the CH-3. I regret that I sold it. If I was going to get another BR scope I'd go with the NP-2DD if I couldn't have a CH-3. Sometimes less is better, aiming with a simple dot.

Npr2 would be a great double duty reticle. Looking at the data np2dd and npr2 are by far the most popular reticles.
