Hey everyone. I saw Nosler Custom Compitition bullets on sale on Midway. They are WAY cheaper that the SMK's I have been using. Has anyone shot them and what were the results?
For the most part, they are very good. All of the 22 and 30 cal stuff I have shot have performed very well. Even the 2nds that I have shot have been good. Now, I dont shoot them in comps, but for practice, hammering steel, etc, I think you will very happy.
I've been using them for a couple of years now. I use them in my 223 (52 gr) 6.5 Creedmoor (140)and 308 (168). They shoot just as good as SMK but at a better price.
The 190gr. 30 cal produced the same velocites and had the same point of impact at 300 yards as the 190 SMK in my 308 with identical brass and charge weights. Haven't shot enough of them to compare the accuracy.
