I just had a Rifle Basix replace my accutrigger on my model 10 , .308. Shoots great. It is the cheaper SAV 1. I'm thinking about getting the SAV2 for my model 110 without the accutrigger. Anybody know the big difference between the two? One costs twice the other. That's a big difference.

The sav1 goes down to about 1 lb, nice creep free, reliable. The sav2 can go down to 5oz and is real close to jewell feel, at least the 2 i set up compared to a dozen different bench guns with Jewells. For f class lr br it is impossible to beat a sav2 on a savage, if it is varmint/tactical i prefer the sav1. The sav2, when set at 4 oz can have the tendency to trip sear if trigger is jarred. I can run the bolt hard, bang around on the stock, but if ur finger slightly pushes the trigger forward it will rebound hard enough to over come the trigger return spring. Hard to describe but it isn't an issue on a bench gun but doesn't need to be used in the field/tac comp setting.
