Been looking for dimensional information on rifle length gas system, but not sure what is reliable. Will a 15” hand guard cover the gas block on a rifle length +2” gas system. Looking to build a 20” 6mm ARC.
A 15” hand guard will not completely cover the gas block on a rifle length +2 system. The hand guard on my aero M5 with a proof 22in barrel covers about 1/4 of the gas block and the rest of it sticks out. Unfortunately since I have an enhanced upped the 15in hand guard is the longest aero makes.

I had to use a 16.5" rail to cover the gas block on my rifle +2 gas system on my 6 ARC.
If you look around you can find 16 and 16.5 handguards.
This is a 16.5" on an 18" barrel, the gas block sits about an inch back from the front of the rail. I can still get to the adjustment screw on the gas block.
I have a Rifle+1" gas system on my 18" 6.5 Creedmoor and the gas block is completely hidden under a 15" Aero Precision Atlas rail. Rifle+2" would protrude slightly from a 15" rail.
