Range time, 25/50/100m shooting, 5rnd groups. Well, its 1980’s optic, so sun is mutch welcome. My USMC Unertl, is a couple step up, but .22 is fun to shoot here as Vintage config. I’m vintage too, came to think about it…

My tikka t1x krg bravo on my viperflex sticks.
Heres a 3 shot group I shot a couple of days ago from the sticks at 120 yards with cci standard velocity.
Maybe I got lucky but it put a smile on my face.

Swapped the Vudoo out of the MPA matrix into Manners TCS saltwater camo.
I have a TCS and want to love it, but it's a pita to balance so mine is still in Matrix pro.

The salt water patten is awesome.. 22" MTU? And weights in the arca?

See I was having issues getting it balanced in matrix. My matrix has external gray ops weights in front and still back heavy with my 20” MTU. Now it’s good in TCS fully weighted on arca rail. No back weight. Weighs 17.3 in TCS like you see it.

Picked up my Vudoo yesterday. This is my first precision 22LR. Rimfire is going to be fun.
-Vudoo 360
-20” Ace MTU
-MPA Matrix chassis (saltwater camo)
-Trigger tech diamond
-EC tuner
-Leupold Mark 5 5-25
-MPA mount
How do you like the Mark 5? Thinking about it for my Vudoo build. Just hesitant due to the 50yd parallax.

I’ve had zero issues at 50yds. Then again all I shoot is 50+. Mark 5 glass and turrets are hard to beat for the money.
With my Vudoo, I don't "need" to shoot it at less than 25 yards, (min parallax for the Cronus), but in a match that has thrown in 15 yard off hand 1/2" swinging targets, being able to see the target(s) clear might have helped. Bad enough shooting a 17# rifle off hand as it is. I've only been in one match that had that kind of stage, I think I scored 3/10...🤣

Edit add: probably would have helped more if my dumb ass had cranked the zoom down from 20x...live and learn.

I’m going with the NX8 just for that reason. Parallax down to 11 yds.

@Coors Man 264 if you get a rail or mount with the max* MOA built in, you'll likely be able to get the full potential out of it. That will be more important that having an extra 3 MIL of vertical adjustment. I have a 40 MOA rail on my Vudoo, I have 6.7 MIL under the zero stop...which is useless. Not sure if a 60 MOA rail would still zero at 25 or 50 and remain clear. When you get near the limits of adjustment scopes start to get a little cloudy...wouldn't want that for extreme close targets or extreme distance targets. For my use, having a zero at 50 I dial up for 25 yards, and up for everything farther than 50 yards. I can dial to almost 500 yards, never actually tried shooting it that far yet.

*for that scope, to still zero at close distance

Yeah if you’re shooting less than 50yds then yes stay away from Mark5. I actually took my mark5 off my FX crown air rifle cause of parallax and put on a NF NX8 4-32. Works great

Not sure if I shared this yet.
    CZ 455 SS action
    LW 17hm2 (Factory test barrel)
    BScar 2-stage trigger
    Rigid Alloy chassis
    Area 419 rail
    Mueller Target Dot scope

It's tipped over thousands of gophers. The one Eley group I shot during site in was seriously small. See attached

I always wonder that too, but never ask. I don't know what's wrong with 'em, but I bet it's hard to pronounce.
With my above avg IQ, I would say the Curtis action has a 22LR conversion, and in it's previous life was a 6mm of sorts. And the stock was used for that combo too.
Unless the usage is for double papered blunts, just in case shooting gets stressful, but I know nothing about that shit.

I’ve seen plenty of pictures of Vudoo and RimX rifles with them on the side too.

I beleve they come with the rifles and folks just bolt them on. My MPA BA came with the match saver but obviousy I never use it. If you look at Biathlon rifles they have five singles that you can use to recover a miss. It's shooter call as they have to be manually loaded (can't grab another mag) which is a huge time penalty. Of course taking the miss and sking on results in a lap on the penalty loop which is 150m per miss.

Always thought I would rule at Biathlon! I'm not the fittest or fastest but... "Leeme get this straight? You're sending ME... INTO THE WOODS... WITH A RIFLE and a buncha folks ahead of me? Yep! Imma finish top 10 nooooo problemo!"

I expected the cartridge holder to come with my Vudoo in MPA BA Comp chassis, but it wasn't in the box when the rifle was delivered...I feel so left out. 😭

I volunteer a bit for the local biathlon club. It is an absolutely awesome experience. Most memorable was when a coach-mom said, "Eighteen ten year olds with rifles, what could go wrong?".

I'll survive without it; I have 5 ten round mags and a Kydex mag holder for my belt. I just won't look as kewl without the centerfire cartridge holder on the side of my Vudoo. 🤣

Yeah...my son in law critiqued me mightily on this photo. I am struggling with the major weight increase over my CZ. More back yard prop practice definitely needed.
