Rifle Scopes rings and mounts

I am going to be getting a leupold mark 4 6.5-20 lr/t m1 scope in january and its going to top a savage 10 fcp hs precision rifle. I thought about getting the mark 4 rings and mounts because i want a really solid base for my scope. But for the price i have to think its not like im gonna throw my rifle down a hill and still be able to use it to save my life. So could any one recomend a good set up of mount and rings thats still good quality but maybe around 120 bux for the set up on this scope?

EGW rail and Burris XTR rings. I can't fault either, have personally used both, and both worked well.

You will be out about 100 bucks and be all set.

Amen to the EGW Rail. Love mine. Very solid and well machined. It lined up to the holes on my 700 perfectly and was exactly the right height front to rear.

I've run an EGW base and TPS rings on my Savage 10FP with no problems and they'll only set you back about $115.

egw but I would not compromise on rings or a base. Get some badgers and be done with it forever.

Ken Farrel makes lots of good stuff for the savage. They are up there in quality and price with seekins and BO.
