Yea I was very sad and shocked to hear this. Poor Andy, thats a very rough way to end ones life... and he was on such a high note too with TV and all.

RIP Andy Whitfield.

they replaced him a long time ago...they have been filming the new season for almost 5 months now...the guy replacing him was on "band of brothers"...but he sounds nothing like andy...and andy's voice is what made him so believable as spartacus

More sad news to add to the 9-11 date. As if it wasn't a hard time already this news was just sad. He was a father and loved husband. Sad when people go before their time.

Good actor in a good show. Had a really bad CA. Treatment was ineffective....left two kids too...

I really enjoyed his acting l picked up the Gods of the Arena on blu-ray l liked it but it wasn't the same. l hope the new season is good .
