RL15@Hornady 75gr BTHP

Got to tune on my new rifle some more today. All I've tried is RL15. Rifle shot very good with 24.7gr, tried 24.9 but opened up some, but still showed no high pressure signs.
If anyone knows I'm shooting a 1/8 twist and bbl is 21 1/4" long. Does anyone have any idea on my velocity. I usually shoot at 100yds then back up to 400 and calculate the drop but didn't get to today. Thank krw

My guess is close to 2800fps. I tried all kind of powders in .223, and RL-15 is by far the best in my case. using 75-80 a-max. My load is a little stiffer than yours and super accurate.

I do 24 grns with the 75/77, at 600 I add 1 click in my CCH to hit the target, this is from a 14.5 1-7 barrel, chornie says 2600

Not to hijack, but I just purchased a hundred of these to try out and was planning on using RL15 as well.

From my research, I've found 24.2 to be where most have good results.

So, is there any reaonable way to get these to fit in an AR mag?
I would really love to run these, but not being able to use the magazine seems pretty silly.

The Hornady 75 gr. BTHP will fit in a standard AR mag all day long.

75bthp work fine in the magazine, as do 77smk, 75amax is no go for magazine, but work well as siingle load only

I use 24.5 with the 75 and the 77 grain bullets and there is no pressure indications from my Colt Black Rifle.
