I have the LR-260 24" SS upper with the 8.5tw
I have seen a lot of guys using the "chocolate icecream" load combo of H4350 and 140's of just about any flavor to get 2750-2850 (depending on rifle specs).
I've seen a little data on bolt guns using RL22 and 1 mention of RL17 with the 140's. I've found nothing on either of these with a gas gun, especially a non-adjustable direct impingement version.
Has anyone tried it? I'd like to get a starting load for RL17, I have one point to try with 22 and I have enough of both powders on the shelf to do some experimentation; but if someone has done it already I would appreciate some help with it to save some testing costs.
TIA
