Rodenstien cannot discuss Obama's spying on Trump because it is classified

Recently had a run in with those little bastards.
I was impressed with their bite.

Their toxin has killed a few people over the years. The Fla an south Ga. long ago tribes use to dip their arrows into the toxin they extracted from the damn things. Even if the arrow just cut you it hurt like hell but if you got stuck by an arrow most never survived the encounter.

The responses in these news stories seem to be showing a better understanding of what has happened.

That is good because when it comes down to being held to accounts its apparent it will be the People holding to accounts not the deep state.

Need to see more of these stories in lefty type publications even if they are slanted. The comments tell me whether or not the party line is being swallowed.

When I see the other than those that are already polarized understanding these events I get hopeful.

Our opinions and the opinions of those that wear "pussy hats" dont matter.

Got popped 3-4 times on my left leg.
Reminded me of getting a cigarette put out on me.
Didn't know they were around as far north as we were.
Bud says oh yea gotta watch out for those lol.

They're thick around here. Stay on top of them in pastures when you've got calves or other babies dropping. They've been known to blind a new calf.

Inject water that is close to steam temp into their mound an you will kill the queen. She dies an the whole mound dies off quickly. There are powders an other such but the hot water is the best if you can do that. The other way is an art form, pore liquid Alm on to the mound an it will kill most everything in it then pull the soild out once it cools are you will be amassed at the money people will pay for it.
Gasoline an such will work but will kill the grass an other things as well done improperly. I've send a few mounds over the trees with other items of interest but then I have to refill the hole with dirt,... makes more work than the entertainment value is worth. LOL

“Savage” was a accurate adjective, not a racist pejorative.
True but if someone were taking land that had been mine for eons I too would be savage. It just happened to turn out that we were even more savage than them.

Like I said, Darwin always wins.

Off topic but read some shit yesterday about the Aztecs and watched this morning a show on bats in old Mayan ruins. In the past I've read some books about our own native American populations.

I think they got the term "savage" because by just about any context even in our PC world their dealings among their own and other tribes were SAVAGE.

Aztecs ripping out beating hearts than tossing the bodies down the Altar steps to be beheaded so the skulls could be defleshed and than punched port to starboard to build racks of grisly monuments to their death culture.

Im sure when the Spanish Conquistadors discovered this they must have been struck by the gigantic civic works the Aztecs had produced while at the same time killing thousands in "savage" bloody rituals.

I imagine their first meet was akin to the scenes in Apocalypse Now when the PBY crew comes upon Kurtz "village".

Our own Native American Indian population gained land, trade and status through warring among their own and even better against other tribes.

The Sioux were originally a coastal Carolina tribe. As they moved west to avoid the European settlements do you think the tribes to the west just welcomed them?

No the Sioux fought and kicked ass until they won one battle too many on the Little Big Horn and as one Sioux writer described it as they had been the dominant culture conquering on their travel west, they were now overcome by a dominant culture.

There was not a lot in indigenous culture life that wasn't "savage" but when you are living by the strictest Darwinian rules that is the name of the game.

Indians as environmentalists - sure they may have used every last atom of a bison kill but that is Darwinian necessity not love of Gaia.

There are ancestral hunting kill spots where whole herds of Bison were run off cliffs leading to kills well beyond what the tribe could handle and rather than feeling they had insulted "the great father" they only felt the satisfaction of full stomachs.

Any of those tribes in Chicago, LA or Boston?

King Philip had his war and for a time it was pretty dicey for the settlers. Areas of Lancaster, Princeton and others near where I roam where the wild west back than. The eastern tribes were very well structured and advanced in being able to farm and set up settlements.

No resistance to European disease and lesser technology though doomed them.

People these days steeped in revisionist history think of this whole 'Noble Savage' myth thing as being true.
For the most part, native american culture revolved around rape, kidnapping, slavery, torture and murder just as much as hunting or anything else.
They were doing all that to each other long before the Europeans came along. Just like in Africa, the native Africans are still busy doing all that to each other the deeper into the bush you go.

You're certainly not going to win many friends among our more enlightened brethren (or "woke," if you prefer). Facts have no place in emotionally charged debate.

I had a discussion (or rather attempted to have) with a fellow preaching the virtues of the American Indian. When I interjected a few of the facts you mentioned, I learned I was, "Misinformed by my racist mentors."

Yes the problem with history is that it has happened and the facts are the facts.

I dont hold the past against any culture, I just ask that you own it.

If the culture has moved beyond what in modern perspective is a "negative" practice than beat your chest for the positive growth.

Dont hold the "sins" of the past on those living in the present.

My wife is part Lenape as obviously is her family . They are midly uptight and quite proper . Near life long residents of an affluent artsy area . So one year at the Thanksgiving Dinner table the family was commenting on the wifes beautiful new Camaro . The civility , pomp amd cicumstance was killing me so I interjected
" That a very nice car that you have there . Trade ya for some beads." With the exception of Grannys' jaw dropping open so fast and crasing into the table , you couldve heard a pin drop . " Meh so long as I laughed .

Funny how the more progressive among us can forgive the history of certain cultures...but no so much with others. How often have you heard the crusades used as justification for Muslim/Islamic terrorism?

The crusades were a fuckin myth . Ask the Austrians about the siege of Vienna . Oh and the peaceful Muslim immagrants to Constantinople. Peaceful until that fuckin siege . The World powers of the day did experience the same Muslim domination bullshit from the Ottoman Turk Empire . Yeah colonialism was real and so was replacing the Islamic leadership with people who were fine preying on their own .
King Richard thoroughly fucked the dog on this . Sued for peace cause he fucked up and lost . Evil mislead Christians preying on poor peaceful Muslims . Yeah that's what happened . Like the Palestinians . Fucked in the ass to a pink sock by all of their Arab neighbors . Brits make security aggreement and get front row seat onthe run up to WW2 in Africa .
But no it's the fuckin Jews . Palestinians fucked their ally the British for money from the Nazis .
Led Nazi teams to British leadership housing so Nazis coul kill Brits to the fuckin cradle in their sleep . No no the Jews fucked the Palestinians . Btits turned to local Arab Jews for intel and support and prom Jewish homeland for help . Ironic how Brits love the taste of Muslim dick now . In the eighties Brits tried space program in Saudi Arabia . Peaceful Muslims over ran the installation and they were evacuated by SAS and American SF. Local Muslims were attempting to kill every non believer ie every mother fucker in the installation . Saudis fund terrorism and pay Madrasas to preach and teach that the west is the reason you're suckin dirt off of rocks to fuckin eat . No no we're your friends . America is the Great Satan .Some fuckin ally there .
Tired of typing gonna go get some more coffee . Thoroughly pissed off right now .
Oh yeah the Brit space program shit a buddy that was Army Intell told me .We went to school together for machining . I aint no secret squirrel or tin foil hat motherfucker and I believed his story . Funny how that never made the news .
