Who makes the rotation limiting sling attachment point that attaches to the front handguard via a picatinney rail? I have a couple of the mounts but they allow the sling to swivel 360 degress and a mount that limits the rotation sure would be nice. I got spoiled with the LaRue front handguard

BTW it is for the socket type attachment.

Thanks

Re: Roration Limiting Sling Attachment

The Gear Sector mount is rotation limiting and except for the socket is the exact same profile as Tango Down grip covers so they don't interfere with grip. I have a Gear Sector hand stop and a QD socket on my two AR uppers. They seem like good stuff.

Re: Roration Limiting Sling Attachment

Daniel Defense makes one that goes on the rail and keeps the sling from flipping over and twisting. I am most likely wrong but I thought they had a patent on it. Either way, it is a nice piece of kit.

Thanks, I will see what I can dig up for near term and look into a DD for long term.

Thanks

I have one of the DD ones, too, and didn't remember it being rotation limiting but sure enough the DD website says it is.

thats a pretty slick light mount

Re: Roration Limiting Sling Attachment

Daniel Defense and Gear Sector would be my first choice. I use both on my AR's. The Gear Sector is rounded to match rail covers and is a little slimmer profile.
