RRA Tactical Operator2 & M223scope @ range w/pics!

Took my rock river arms 5.56 tactical operator2 to the range today to test the difference between some bulk budget .223 ammo. First, about the rifle. It's a rock river tactical operator2, GPS-2 grip pod, nikon 3-12X42SF M223 scope with nikoplex and side focus, 20moa cant M223 scope mount, butler creek caps, and blackhawk 3point sling. Shooting off bench @ 100yards with the grip pod. The ammo used was ultramax remanufactured 223rem 55gr soft point bulk box,,,,,, vs the american eagle (federal) 223 rem 55grn FMJ. Was amazed that the soft point ultramax got much much better groupings (see pictures).... 250round box of ultramax for $99.99. I've had really good luck with this ultramax remanufactured ammo and will purchase more once I've used up my american eagle.

I just got this rifle about 4months ago and have only put the 250rounds of ultramax and the 20rounds of american eagle thru the rifle... Will try some other grain bullets in the near future and will post some updated pics.

I have an elite operator 2 and have been very pleased. Especially with Hornaday 55gr Vmax/Zmax factory and handloads.
