RRS TA-3 Equivalent?

Are there any other good leveling bases out there similar to the RRS TA-3?

Maybe something a little more budget friendly? I’ve seen the Leotofo YB-75LC online so been thinking about that

I've found to save on the tripod and spend on the leveling/ball head.

You can find used ta-3 here for around 250 or less. I’d spend the extra 100 bucks and the the rrs.

If similar in appearance counts, then yes there are plenty of rip-offs out there. Do yourself a favor and don’t go cheap on the head.

If you actually use your stuff in the field you’ll find out quick that cutting that corner wasn’t worth the $100 or so you saved.

This is the answer the ta-3 is well worth it, super stable and locks up tight

I recently tried out a sunwayfoto GNN FB-52 and it works alright, however I will be upgrading to the ta-3. I would go with the other recommendations of getting the rrs.
