    Shot my new “camping gun”

    Shot at 15’ or so.

first five are top right factory 158g sp full house .357 mag.

Top left are my .38 lead 125g handloads at ~800 fps

I obviously am a poor shot with the mags! That lil gun has a bite! But not bad.... it has adjustable sights, but I forgot to bring a screwdriver that fit. Needs to come up and right just a hair...

Those wood inserts are tits! Nice!

My 3" SP-101 likes hotter loads - the hotter the better. It's been a long while since I've shot it, but I was able to shoot some sub-2" groups at 25y with it, shooting 125gr CorBon JHPs, and some 180gr silhouette loads that a buddy fed his Desert Eagle for IHMSA competitions. I forget how much AA #9 those were loaded with, now, but the fireball coming out of that little SP-101 was quite impressive. I've always been impressed with that little gun. Too bad it only holds 5 rounds.

Yeah 5rds is fine for plinking. That’s pretty much all it’s going to do. I’ll pack it around when camping for an excuse.... I’m totally impressed how good the .38 reloads shot out of it.
