I'm in the process of piecing together my first AR. I'm building the lower, but plan on buying one of the 3 complete uppers mentioned in the title. I had set my mind on the Noveske Light Recce with Switchblock, but I just saw that PWS came out with their "Mod 1" version, which has an adjustable gas system. I have read DMacks thread on the PWS MK114 (and others), so I'm familiar with their reputation. From what I had gathered, the Switchblock was (is?) the best system for suppressed AR's, but these new adjustable PWS guns have me intrigued.

I would like opinions from those who have run these guns, or those who have run suppressed AR's extensively. Whichever one I end up with will have a can on it the vast majority of the time.

I've got a switch block on a suppressed upper and it works wonderfully. And a family member has a full switch blocked upper from Noveske that shoots amazingly too. While PWS does make a good product I have a close friend that had nothing but problems out of his MK110 Mod 0. I know that the Mod 1 is supposed to have addressed a lot of problems but after seeing his rifle beat itself to death I'm a little hesitant about getting one.

I've ran my KAC SR-15 suppressed for awhile with no issues.... no switch block needed. It's the smoothest shooting AR I've ever shot, liked it so much I picked up a KAC sr-15 mod 1 in the group buy.

The rail system kicks ass too...
