While I REALLY want her off the bench, I find it difficult to wish ills on someone. I just can't bring myself to hope Ginsberg's cancer gets worse, or that some horrible disease kills her. I just want her off the bench. It would be my hope that she sees the wisdom of resigning her post on the Supreme Court, and spending the remainder of her life enjoying the company and love of her family.

Seriously? How old are you? You are absolutely right of course, and it should be part of a 4 year (freshman-senior) mandatory civics course. The elimination of "History" and replacement with "social studies" was the communist piece de resistance of the takeover of all education. That has to be reversed, because hearing about Solzhenitsyn's TGA on a podcast is totally unsat.

Asked my kid what he is learning in his 6th grade Ancient Civilization class last night.
I expected to hear Mesopotamia, maybe Ancient Egypt or Classical Greece.......Nope.
They are discussing cultures and whether its right to wear certain costumes on Halloween.

Exactly. I make sure that every opportunity that presents itself, I try to educate my 9 y.o son with the important things that schools aren't teaching him.
If you do it right and present the arguments in terms that they can understand, you will be amazed at the results. Once you open their eyes to how absurd the unicorn socialist b.s that is being pushed really is, the schools indoctrination program no longer works.

what makes me sad is I live in the house I grew up in. My kids attended the same grade school, albeit rebuilt, I attended.
I remember the moment my 6th grade teacher, Mrs Shepard, during instruction on ancient civilization, told the class of how she had climbed one of the great pyramids (back when you could and I dont think she fucked on top of it).
At 11 years old I thought that was the coolest thing and I said "I want to see the world" - which lead me to the Marine Corps, which lead me to a bunch of bars and houses of ill repute but anyway - she made a difference i n my life.
My son is only going to be able to ensure his kids wear SJW approved costumes if he isnt corrected.
My kids ask me about political shit sometimes because they know my thinking and it differs from the majority of their peers parents thinking.
They ask, I explain, and than I have to let them make up their own minds. I guess if my wife and I are good enough examples than they will accept our way of thinking and reject the indoctrination.
What scares me though is that its not really until you are 25 years or so old do you have the epiphany that the shit your parents told you was solid information.
I just hope we can get them to that point without undue harm from what they are exposed to.
Id love to say home schooling or private school was an option but the economics are extremely daunting.
