So im one of those humans who missed out on these last months S&B blowout but i happen to be in the market for a 5-25 now. Over at the Mile hide site im seeing "Non catalogued S&Bs"...

http://www.milehighshooting.com/sch...x56mm-police-cm-ccw-mtc-dt-st-non-catalogued/ story on this? Are they just phasing out inventory on the PM2 line for something new?

Struck me as odd since those units are not that old to begin with. At 2.7K im getting interested but since im a new guy at scouring the vendors, should i be looking elsewhere or waiting...

BTW dead set on the 5-25, im just trying to get a bit more versed on their models so i dont miss out on something i might benefit from as i keep learning the sport.

Thanks.

Im actually quite interested on the new LRR-MIL reticle but im guessing that they'll begin to be "widely" available by the end of 2017 if their release is stated for summer. Its a guess but these things take time to hit the shelves.

What features are you looking for? You need to decide MOA vs MRAD, CC vs CCW, DT vs MTC/LT, Reticle choice, etc. There are some great deals at Sport Optics on more popular choices in the SB line. Look for the red tag by the price that says Promotions May Apply, which is currently 12% off already-reduced price listed. I heard of some other good deals at Optics Planet, but I don't recall what they are/were. Mile High is great to deal with (and may match price if you check) and I've had good experiences with both them and Sport Optics. No experience with Optics Planet.

This particular scope is pretty much the same as all the other PMII with LT/MTC turrets. The police reticle is kind of a mix of the P3L and the P4. It has mil dots instead of mil hash marks with .5 hashes. It has the same quick ranging scale that the P4 uses. If you're ok with the reticle and the RAL8000 finish (which usually cost more than the black and pantone models), it's a pretty good deal. Functionally, this scope isn't any different than all the other PMIIs with the same turret schemes.

I keep looking at the S&B 5-25 H2CMR reticle and now the new LRR-Mil reticle has my attention. But I think I will end up going with the Minox ZP5 5-25X56 MR4.
