OK, so on top of the fact that the 12-50x56 model comes with no owners manual with specs in it........

The American web site has no info or specs about the scope on it.......

Now comes the question of exactly how much travel does this scope have in it.

Well heres what my scope came in at.

    Elevation:
964 clicks @1/8 value = 120.5 MOA of elevation travel

    Windage:

    888 total clicks @ 1/8 value = 111 MOA of windage travel.

WTF??????? Am I crazy or is this double what I have read is the rated travel of this scope?

Now I MECHANICALY centered my scope at 482 and 444 clicks respectively. This now leaves me with 60.25 MOA of elevation travel in each direction and 55.5 MOA of windage travel in each direction.

Why would they underate the travel of the scope so much? Or os this a fluke or am I just missing something.

I love the scope, am bothered by the turrets and hate the "support" so far.

No info in the manual, no American website. I hope a call in to S&B yields concrete answers.

The manual even comes serial numbered to the box and scope. I got that. And flip to the spec pages and ...... nothing.

Too bad it's not a CM based Mil/Mil one or I'd say you need to just give it up and sell it to me because there are too many problems with it.

Throw a bore sighter on the weapon and see where the reticle stops moving in the click cycle. I am guessing that it stops moving prior to reaching the end of the manual clicks.

I really don't understand why you're so pissed. Your model has 300 cm of adjustment at 100 meters. 1 MOA = 2.9089 cm at 100 m. That's 103.13 MOA of vertical adjustment. Sounds reasonably close to me. Windage is +/- 80 cm at 100M so thats 55 +/- or 110 MOA total, right on your number. That's a nice piece of glass bye the way, congrats. Relax, and trust your eyes.
Mil/mil version too has endless amount of tiny (0.025mrad)clicks. And clicks are not there just for show.

Unfortunately, that is the 2006 version of the PMII Instruction Manual which was printed years ago. As such, it does not list the specs for the new PMII 12X-50X 56mm.

Re: S&B just has me so pist........

Has anyone used one of these with the ffp reticle? Does the reticle get too large to use at higher magnifications? I realize that 50x is a ton of mag, but it only has a 4x zoom ratio. I am new to ffp scopes and am not sure if total magnification or a big zoom ratio makes the reticle hard to use.
