Rifle Scopes S&b PMII 3-12x50 problem

i just got a pmii 3-12x50 and I'm having a problem with it and wanted to check I'm not just being really dumb and missing something obvious.

when i rotate the zoom wheel from 3 to 12, nothing happens. the zoom seems to be stuck on 3x. the wheel rotates smoothly and normally, it just doesn't do a thing.

any suggestions?

not really, I'm in canada so if it enters the USA it's a world of pain to get it back out thanks to ITAR regulations. if i have to send it away it would be cheaper and easier to send it back to germany.

Yeah its busted. Not sure how that leaves the factory like that. Sorry to hear about that.

It's both. Lol.

I bought it from someone who never used it. I trust him completely so I bet he never touched the dials.

Might not be a problem, the knob just thinks it is the parallax turret.

Not really. It doesn't do a thing.
Focus ring still works perfectly.

That was a joke. S&B are my favorite scopes but they do sometimes have an issue with the parallax adj not working. Sorry for the issue you are having, but S&B will make it right.

Just a shame I've been waiting months for my new AI AW rifle and now will likely miss all summer waiting for the scope repair.

Have you at least tried to go through the dealer that the person bought it from?

They don't have to help you out but some dealers are willing to go the extra mile and deal with the CS themselves and give you a scope out of inventory.

I'll give it a try but he bought it a couple years back. And I don't have the box. Just the manuals and warranty card etc.
