Have a variety of safariland holsters built up over the years. Unfortunately, they are all sorts of different heights. Thought it would be nice to standardize them across all of my platforms, but hesitant to rip the t-nuts out.

Have any of you removed the t-nuts and moved them around in the pre-drilled holes in the holster? Any tricks/advice is so? They are pretty solidly in. My thought is you almost have to heat them up with a soldering iron or something to melt them out in a way and then kind of melt them in the new holes. Obviously, hesitant to do that though.

Thanks in advance.

These cover most of the Safariland gear........which one in question ?
Photo of said holster and what you are attempting to do would be handy information.

Looks like maybe the 9/16 nut with the teeth.

Trying to move them down to the lower set of holes to bring the ride height up a bit. The whole system is on a drop flex adaptor with QLS as high as it can go.

you can insert the 8-32 screw in to the t-nut and just push it / tap it out to release the triple tooth engagement; then insert the toothed t-nut into the other set of holes and when you tightened the screw it will drive the teeth into the holster in the new location.
