Re: Safety Selector/Charging Handle Latch

I have a Badass on both my ar15 and ar10. I run the longer on the left and shorty on the right. The new generation is a better design. It is definitely worth the money. I have the Badger tactical on my ar15 and 2nd version on the ar10. I prefer the original one over version 2. I think it is hard to grab the smaller latch.

Re: Safety Selector/Charging Handle Latch

The BADASS selector is a nice product that offers you flexibility to setup your ambi-selector to your personal preferences which isn't something that is generally found with other ambi switches on the ARs. I run them and recommend them to anyone wanting/needing an ambi-selector.

As for the larger CH latch...they all generally work well and as advertised. I run PRI Gasbuster CH on my ARs and prefer the extended, combat latch. Again...it all depends on how you'll be running your rifle and what you need/want from a CH/tac latch.

Comment on charging handle:
Though it's an AR15, and not an AR10, I ended up with the BCM Mod 3 (longer latch). I tried the Mod 4, but preferred the Mod 3 for optic and sling ring clearance. The BCM charging handle has more material around the pivot pin than the "stock" part.
