Sako/Beretta doesn't accept customers' inquiries?

Re: Sako/Beretta doesn't accept customers' inquiries?

I called Beretta once with a question on night sight replacement on my 92 inox, they said to get some glow in the dark paint, and fix them myself

Not getting ahold of them morons, is a good thing!

Welcom to my world--see post form earlier today on the negative of customer service from BS....hopefully something would force BS to split, or at least let the Sako rifle go back to selling to a dealer network something other than just rifles......rumors are that this is evolving.

What are you trying to learn about the barrel(s). I have a large amount of experience with Sako's, and know a couple of other sources on info as well.

Big corp mentality--horrible

Re: Sako/Beretta doesn't accept customers' inquiries?

I recently had to track down some TRG parts. I called BerettaUSA and the person I talked to gave me a part number... and then was directed to Brownells to order it- Brownells now handles Beretta USA's parts: the part number I was given turned out to be incorrect however Brownells gave me BerettaUSA parts department direct number - and then was turned over to them.
Tony couldn't find the part on hand but took some off a demo model and mailed them to me, no charge. Thanks guys and good job!

Re: Sako/Beretta doesn't accept customers' inquiries?

I had an issue with a NIB Beretta 92 a few years ago. The communication and customer service skill at Beretta was nonexistent, but they did fix the problem and return the gun within a couple of weeks.

Re: Sako/Beretta doesn't accept customers' inquiries?

Corporate communication regarding Sako/Beretta is generally non-existent. Do a search on the Tika kaBoom fiasco resulting from faulty SS metallurgy and how "pro-active" they were in the "recall". It was pathetic the way it was conducted.

Re: Sako/Beretta doesn't accept customers' inquiries?

This kind of pissing on customer relations may follow from the fact that they have so many orders placed for sako/tikka rifles that probably they started to believe it will continue indefinitely. I spoke recently to a gun dealer who just came back from rihiimaki and they told him over there that e.g. orders placed on Russian market for the first quarter of 2011 make twice the number of orders from CEE for the whole 2011. Not to mention orders from the US. So, they don't care about customer service.
