Gunsmithing Savage 10 changed to 260 Remington

Would there be any big problems changing a Savage 10FP like this one:

to 260 Remington?

Would the magazine work? Cost?

No. Just switch the barrel and go.

Cost depends on the barrel you choose. Google Lothar Walther, they have nice Savage prefits at a good price.

buy a wrench and headspace guage. you can look at my posts and see the little write up i did when i changed mine. simple stuff once you get the tools. pm if you need any help. also there are like what? 5 places making savage prefits now. kreiger, mcgowen, shilen, walther. sim arms carries a few more brands. look at northland shooters and Jim will have stuff in stock. may have the 260 you need.
