so i shot my savage model 10 yesterday and my groups were just shy of horrendous..lol ..figured most of it was me..i was flinching bigtime..just couldnt get comfortable positioning..but today when i broke it down and cleaned it i realized that the stock has no bedding in it at all..just a cheap plastic piece of junk stock..maybe it wasnt me? i dont know..but i do know that i wanna try a mcmillan stock asap

Re: savage 10

Don't get me wrong, I REALLY like my Savage, but their stock geometry is terrible. Their comb angle must be R&D'd by the big faced guy from that movie Mask. Try duct taping some mouse pad strips to it and see if that helps. I found with mine I had more of a jaw weld which made my position very inconsistent, hence my groups inconsistent.
Just my 2 cents.

The Choate tactical is a great low cost stock, and if you ever want to upgrade to a cannon barrel, the choate will still fit

I finish inletted my B&C Tactical Medalist, drop in, and am very happy with the fit(Now)
