Savage 110 ultra lite. Smash or pass?

After some fellow members talked me into staying away from a ar10 for hunting, I went back to looking at bolt guns and found this savage at a local store for $950 on sale.
I know the actions can be so so. I’ve only had 1 savage years ago and it was very accurate but the action left a lot to be desired.

This one has the accufit stock but not bedded one. Proof 22” barrel and blue printed action.

At this price, for shooting deer, seems like a great deal. But I’m slightly retarded.

Talk sense into me, yet again. If needed.

I have one in 308. It is very light and accurate. I would like to put it in a different stock but it appears they quit making the pure precision altitude that I was wanting. The action is not great but it does its job. For $950 that's a great deal.
