I just picked one up a month or so ago in 6.5X284 Norma. I haven't had the time to shoot it or mount optics on it. It has the accustock on it which I know very little about. Are these stocks actually free floated? Anybody have any experience with these rifles? Anybody but Manners make a stock for these?

Clear rifle then attempt the slide a piece of paper between the action and the barrel to see if its free floated. Even if it does when the rifle is cold, the barrel MAY touch the stock when heat is built up from firing it the tolerances are too tight between the stock and barrel. Accu-Stock means it features an Aluminum "Spine" down the stock to stiffen it up. I would think it should shoot well with the right load.
