savage 16?

I've been kicking around the idea of buying a 22-250 and I've decides on a savage. I started looking around for a mdl 10 and i found a mdl 16 stainless at the local gunshop for 470. What are the advantages/disadvantges? I intend to rebarrel at some point anyway, and i don't mind the .204 for now, so caliber aside advantages/disadvantages please.

pretty sure they are basically a model 10, but shoot over to savage shooters forum and read up.

on savages site it's listed as the "weather warrior" series. I'm thinking the only difference is stainless?
