Savage Axis

Anyone have one, that will admit to it here? I see quite a few references to the Ruger A.erican and was curious about the Axis.

I recently picked one up, in 22-250, for $200. Added a Timney trigger and Boyd's At-One Thumbhole stock and it is shooting in the .3s. This is with a sporter barrel. I was hoping for a moa gun but am pleasantly surprised at how well it shoots.

Oh, the wife loves shooting it.

I don't have the Axis but I do have a 110. Very accurate rifle with factory ammo. Can't wait to get home and work up some loads. I am adding the MDT LSS stock. I have the Witt clamp on brake on my shorter barrel and it takes the bite of the 30-06. Next up for it is a Criterion barrel and Timney trigger. I love the Savage rifle. I will have the action turned and timed when I replace the barrel.
