something i have been debating about is if it would be worth putting a muzzle brake on my bolt action 223. would it even be worth doing?? also, if anyone knows anything about the savage edge, would i be able to swap barrels designed for the 110 models? i havent been able to get a straight answer on the barrel swap yet. thanks again guys!

Re: savage edge 223

heres a straight answer
Q#1 no
Q#2 no
223 doesnt kick hard enough to need a muzzlebreak
and the reciver has a cut out in it for the reverse recoil lug so it is not interchangable the edge isnt a old savage model that has been refreshed it is a rifle all on its own so if you want to upgrade buy a stevens or model 10

^^^ this, the Edge is a cheap rifle, the .223 is in no need of recoil reduction. If you want to dress up something, step up to the stevens, or better yet, the real deal savage's and then you have something to work with.
