I have never had a Savage, never thought I would say it but I went and got one in 6.5 CM. I own an AI, TRG 22 and a custom Rem and shot various work rifles over the years. When the rifle showed up at the door I was pleasantly surprised to see it sitting in a PST035 stock rather than the more traditional style stock I was expecting. I will eventually put it an XLR chassis but I like the stock a lot more than the one I was expecting so looking fwd to shooting it. This is my first venture into the 6.5 over the .308...old habits die hard. A 6.5 barrel for my AI is in the cards as well.

I just bought an LRP and was impressed with the stock also. I think it may be a viable long-term stock. I can't wait until I pick it up from jail (I live in CA so there is a 10 day waiting period).

Did your stock come with two swivel screws on the front so that you can a bipod mount a rail to it, or just one? I am planning on adding an atlas to mine.

TwoNiner,

It only came with one swivel stud on the front, I had a HS Stock on a work rifle with the two studs and never used it anyway. This will definitely do until I get an XLR Chassis for sure.
