Join contestNo factory. Wasn't looking to spend 750 to 800 on prfit this time around looking more 400 to 500. But doing a 25 cal fast twist so hard to doWhat do you consider cheap? Savage factory?
I use criterion barrels from him blanks to prefits. They just don't make a fast twist 25 cal barrel. And shilen only makes a 1-7 need 1-7.5 to 1-8Call James at northland shooter supply! Good guy to deal with. He stocks Shilen and Criterion.I just got a Shilen select match in 260 Rem. and its a shooter .
Good group. Never had a x-caliber. I looked at there prefit only off a 1-7 but sell a 1-7.5 blankAlso I have a 6.5 Creedmoor X-caliber savage pre fit that I put on my Origin action and it’s also a great shooter.

Yeah I'm going to give them a call about it. Find that very weird maybe a mix up on siteI'd send an email or give them a call to see if they could do a prefit with a 1:7.5 (since they offer it as a blank).
He only carries 1-7 twist barrels unfortunately. And no 257 weatherby reamer25 Cal. 1-7.5 TW
I have no experience with their barrels, do the search thing, the last postings I read about them, members were posting about a long lead time ???
I'd suggest like others have suggested, call PV and ask about what you want.
Awesome I will check his website out and give him a call.Anthony Ward, Crown Ridge Barrel Works. Sub $400 for barrel nut barrels and he normally has some in stock ready to ship. He uses X-Caliber blanks. If you have a special request for contour and he has a blank, his turn around is normally a couple days. I ordered one on a Friday and it was here on Tuesday.
